Where came Volkswagen K 70 from?
Empty.gif

Yes, you may wonder. All of a sudden in 1970, a water-cooled VW showed up with its engine in front and front wheel drive. Up to this point, Volkswagen had stubbornly declared that air-cooled rear engines were the only and best solution. Well of course, VW had not secretly developed this car by themselves.
Someone else did most of the job:

NSU K 70

K 70 began as...

VW K 70

...and became

K 70 Estate

But, what is this?

K 70 Taxi

K 70 as Taxicab?
